Extra drum for drum carder

Extra drums for Golden Fleece carding machines provide flexibility for working with various fibers. Their intuitive design makes changing drums a quick and easy task.

The density of both drums must be equal, or the smaller drum must have a lower density than the larger drum.

Recommended settings:
54TPI Small Drum – 54TPI Main Drum
54TPI Small drum – 72TPI Main drum
72TPI Small Drum – 72TPI Main Drum
72TPI Small drum – 120TPI Main drum
120 TPI Small Drum – 120 TPI Main Drum

SPECIFICATIONS
- Drum width: 20cm or 30cm;
- Fabric density: 72TPI (the most versatile) or 120TPI (for finer fibers);

What does "TPI" mean? TPI refers to "teeth per inch". TPIs define the density of the teeth on the carding cloth. A denser cloth will have more teeth per unit of surface area and will be more suitable for carding finer wools. A less dense cloth has fewer teeth and is more suitable for coarser wools.
