Intensive tufting course – 21 November 2026

In this intensive tufting course, we aim to lay a solid foundation for anyone wishing to get started with this technique. Like punch needle, ‘tufting’ is a technique that allows us to create textile pieces with three-dimensional textures, but in this case using a tufting gun, which enables us to work on a larger scale and more quickly. The result is sculptural and visually rich pieces.

This course will use 100% natural wool yarn, and participants will take home the piece they produce.

Course content:

- introduction
- materials and setting up the workspace
- setting up and handling the tufting gun
- creating a piece using the tufting technique
- cutting and sculpting techniques
- finishing

SABER FAZER is a training organisation certified by DGERT, and attendance on this course entitles participants to a certificate of vocational training hours.
