Raw fleece from the shearing carried out in Penamacor on a herd of native Churra do Campo sheep. The wool selection was carried out by Alice Bernardo. These fleeces are whole, rolled up, having just been skirted after shearing. They have an average weight of 1.5 kg. The wool of the churra type has many similarities with the Churra Mirandesa. It features long strands and thick fibers, yet resistant and durable, which makes it perfect for creating outerwear pieces, such as coats and other pieces we want with structure. It's a delight to process and spin!
